Kevin James recently visited Amazon’s Queens delivery station, expressing his admiration for the facility’s scale, organization, and management of peak-season operations. During his visit, James spent time on the floor with associates, observing their work firsthand.
“Well, it was amazing,” said James. “It kind of blows my mind about, you know, it’s a big operation, but how well it’s run and how you even organize it, I can’t even believe it.”
According to James, the purpose of his visit was to celebrate the efforts of employees during one of the busiest times of the year. He engaged with associates and acknowledged their contributions to managing high-volume operations. The visit also served as an opportunity to discuss his new Amazon Prime Video film “Playdate,” which currently holds the top spot on Prime.
James commented on the efficiency maintained by associates at the Queens facility during peak season. His interactions with employees highlighted how they manage intense holiday demand effectively.
A report from GlobeSt indicates that Amazon is enhancing efficiency across its warehouse network through significant operational upgrades. These improvements aim to boost overall performance and throughput at facilities nationwide, supporting Amazon’s ability to handle seasonal surges effectively.
