Jill Weissman, founder of Beyond the Bib and resident of Long Island, said that the Enthuse Amazon grant validated her efforts as a small business owner and affirmed that her work has meaning beyond its customers. The statement was made in an interview.
“Winning the Enthuse Amazon grant gave me an incredible feeling of validation as a small business owner,” said Weissman. “Building a company on your own is a grind, and this recognition made me feel seen and showed that the work I’m doing matters beyond just our customers.”
The Enthuse Foundation partners with Amazon to provide grants supporting women entrepreneurs building consumer product companies. According to the foundation, its programs offer funding, mentorship, and exposure to help founders strengthen their business models. The grant initiative highlights women-led brands creating innovative solutions.
Beyond the Bib creates nutritious meal starter sauces and dips designed for toddlers and young children. The company serves families across the Tri-State area and reaches customers nationally through online retail. More than half of the brand’s total sales are generated through Amazon’s marketplace.
Amazon reports that independent sellers have generated more than $2.5 trillion in sales over the past 25 years. The company states that over 60% of storewide sales now come from small and medium-sized businesses. These sellers provide jobs, drive innovation, and reach customers across the United States.
Weissman is the Long Island–based founder of Beyond the Bib, a brand focused on nutrient-dense toddler sauces and dips. She oversees product development, growth strategy, and customer outreach for the company. Weissman received the Amazon and Enthuse Foundation grant recognizing her work as a woman entrepreneur.
