Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis recently welcomed Governor Kathy Hochul to the Sandel Senior Center in Rockville Centre. The visit provided an opportunity for the governor to meet with local seniors and learn about the center’s services.

The Sandel Center is known for its programs that encourage healthy aging, social engagement, and civic participation among older adults. During her time at the facility, Governor Hochul observed how these activities support life satisfaction for seniors in the community.

Legislator Davis expressed his appreciation for both the center and the governor’s visit. “The Sandel Center is a true gem of the Rockville Centre community, and it does so much to enrich the lives of our seniors in their golden years,” Legislator Davis said. “I thank the Governor for visiting and am glad she got to experience their exemplary efforts first-hand.”
