Today marks Giving Tuesday, a global event encouraging charitable donations following Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) is promoting its preferred charity, Guide Dogs of America | Tender Loving Canines (GDA | TLC), which has launched its Holidays of Hope fundraiser.

The organization is seeking contributions to support individuals in need. According to the IAM, “Each donation you make today will directly benefit a military veteran with PTSD, a person who is blind or visually impaired, or a child with autism who needs the life-changing confidence, love, and hope that a service dog provides.”

The campaign aims to provide assistance through service dogs for those facing challenges such as visual impairment, post-traumatic stress disorder among veterans, and children with autism.
