IAM District 160 organized a fundraising event at Topgolf in Renton, Washington, bringing together over 100 members, families, and supporters. The event raised more than $30,000 for Guide Dogs of America | Tender Loving Canines (GDA | TLC), which provides service dogs at no cost to people who are blind or visually impaired, veterans, and children with autism.
Attendees participated in golf games, bingo, raffles, and a silent auction. The fundraiser was held to support GDA | TLC’s mission of empowering individuals through expertly trained service dogs.
“The IAM’s commitment to Guide Dogs of America goes back decades,” said IAM Western Territory General Vice President Robert “Bobby” Martinez. “Our members have always answered the call to give back, and this fundraiser is another example of the compassion and strength that defines our union family.”
The event was led by IAM District 160 Business Representative Zac Collins. His leadership played a key role in organizing the successful fundraiser.
The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers has supported GDA | TLC for many years. Over time, union members have raised millions of dollars for the organization.
