IAM extends registration deadline for September 2025 retirees education program

The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) has announced an extension for the registration deadline for its Retirees Education and Strategy Program (RESP), scheduled to take place from September 21-26, 2025, at the William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center in Hollywood, Maryland.

Registrations for the program must now be received by Monday, August 18, 2025.

The RESP is organized by the IAM Retirees and Membership Assistance Department. The program aims to provide retired and nearly retired members with information and resources on issues that affect their lives. It covers topics such as organizing and maintaining retirees clubs, legislative and political strategies, Social Security and Medicare programs, creating a retiree club action plan, Alliance for Retired Americans activities, and volunteer opportunities for retired member organizing.

Members interested in participating or seeking more information are encouraged to contact the Retirees and Membership Assistance Department at 301-967-4717.
