IAM leaders visit Wisconsin Mercury Marine and John Deere facilities to recognize union skills

IAM Union International President Brian Bryant, Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett, and Chief of Staff Vinny Addeo recently visited IAM Local 1947 members at Mercury Marine and Local 873 members at John Deere in Wisconsin. The union leaders were given tours by local officials to observe the work being done at both facilities.

During the visits, Bryant highlighted the quality and skill demonstrated by union members in manufacturing products such as Mercury Outboard engines and John Deere equipment. He expressed his admiration for their craftsmanship.

Workers from Mercury Marine described their specialized roles in machining, pouring, and grinding processes. They emphasized their pride in producing American-made products.
