More than 30 members of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) took part in a recent Safety & Health Conference at the Winpisinger Center. The event focused on improving workplace emergency response procedures and strategies for maintaining employee health.

According to the IAM, participants received training aimed at helping them better address safety issues in their workplaces. The conference is part of ongoing efforts by the union to ensure that its members are prepared to handle emergencies and promote safer working environments.
