Ivy Geilker has been appointed as a Special Representative for the IAM Healthcare Department, according to an announcement by IAM Union International President Brian Bryant. The new role will be under the direction of IAM Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett and is effective as of September 1, 2025.

Geilker began her work with IAM Healthcare as an Associate Organizer. She played a key role in organizing campaigns that brought pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff from major companies such as CVS, Walgreens, and Safeway Pharmacy into The Pharmacy Guild/IAM.

Prior to joining the IAM Healthcare staff in February 2024, Geilker worked as Senior Lead Organizer at the Colorado State Employees’ Union. In that position, she led a team representing workers across different settings including state hospitals, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, and university campuses.

“Ivy’s success in organizing pharmacists and technicians at major corporations has contributed to the IAM’s impressive growth in the healthcare industry,” said IAM Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett. “Her tireless work to build The Pharmacy Guild/IAM has given a voice to hardworking professionals who provide care to our families and communities.”
