Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis attended the opening of Fish Fry Fridays in Hempstead Village on January 24. The event was held with members of the New Greater Hempstead Chamber of Commerce and other local government officials.

During the ceremony, Legislator Davis presented a Nassau County Legislature Citation to the business owners. He highlighted the importance of small businesses in the community, stating, “Small businesses are the backbone of our local economy, and they are a reflection of the diverse and vibrant communities that they serve.” Davis added, “I welcome this new enterprise to the Hempstead Village business community and look forward to them enjoying many years of success. Thank you to Dr. Lashawn Lukes and the entire New Greater Hempstead Chamber for your support and advocacy for local entrepreneurs!”

The event recognized efforts by both local leaders and organizations like the New Greater Hempstead Chamber in supporting new businesses in Hempstead Village.
