Northwell Health’s Lenox Hill Hospital has announced the appointment of Eileen Kang, MPH, as its new deputy president. Kang brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in health care to her new role. She will be responsible for overseeing daily hospital operations and working closely with other leaders to advance the hospital’s priorities, improve performance, and guide future growth.

Kang previously worked at White Plains Hospital as vice president of operations. In that position, she managed radiology, laboratory, pathology, and diagnostic services. She also led operational planning for major expansion projects, including a new 215,000-square-foot ambulatory facility and a $475 million inpatient unit featuring 144 private rooms and an expanded emergency department. During her tenure, Kang streamlined service lines to identify $1.5 million in potential annual cost reductions.

“Eileen Kang brings a wealth of experience and proven leadership to Lenox Hill Hospital,” said Northwell Health representatives. “Her expertise will be instrumental as we continue to grow and enhance our services.”

Kang is expected to play a key role in supporting the hospital’s ongoing development.
