The New York State Advisory Council on Drinking Water Quality is scheduled to meet on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 10 a.m. The meeting will focus on updates regarding emerging contaminants, harmful algal blooms, and microplastics.

Members of the public can attend the meeting in person at designated locations or watch it through a live webcast. Public comments will be accepted both in person and remotely. Those interested in speaking can sign up via the webcasting link or submit written comments in advance by emailing DWQC@health.ny.gov.

No registration is necessary for those who wish to attend the meeting in person. Webcasts of the council’s meetings are typically posted on the New York State Department of Health’s website within two weeks after each session.
