Northwell Health has formed a strategic alliance with Brightline to expand access to pediatric mental health services across New York. The partnership aims to address the increasing need for youth and family behavioral health care by providing both in-person and virtual options for patients.

Brightline operates clinic locations in Brooklyn and Lake Success, offering therapy and psychiatry services tailored to children, teens, and parents. Northwell Health currently provides a range of behavioral health services for children, including outpatient, inpatient, urgent care, emergency care, and school-based programs. However, due to high demand, many patients have been referred to external providers.

With this new collaboration, Northwell Health patients will have streamlined referrals to Brightline’s network of licensed clinicians. These professionals specialize in treating conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, OCD, and parenting stress.

Michael Scarpelli, senior vice president and president of Northwell’s behavioral health services stated: “Our strategic alliance with Brightline reflects our shared commitment to meeting families where they are — in their neighborhoods, their schools, and even their homes.”
