IAM members from the Southern Territory met in Biloxi, Mississippi for the Southern States Conference. The event focused on increasing solidarity and developing strategies to enhance legislative and political influence in the region. Delegates and leaders at the conference addressed ways to protect workers’ rights, expand union membership, and promote policies that benefit working families across the South.

The conference highlighted efforts by IAM members to defend labor rights and strengthen their presence throughout southern states. Participants shared approaches for growing union power through organizing campaigns and legislative advocacy.
