The College of Arts and Sciences at Stony Brook University is calling for student submissions for its upcoming exhibition, “Arts Everywhere: Showcasing Transformation from Chemistry to Art.” The event is part of the Arts Everywhere Initiative and aims to encourage students to explore chemistry as both a scientific discipline and a metaphor for transformation, connection, and material change.

All students are eligible to submit their artwork for consideration, regardless of their major. Selected artists will receive a stipend of $100. The deadline for submissions is Sunday, November 2. Completed artworks must be submitted by Thursday, November 13.

The chosen works will be displayed in the Chemistry Building from November 18 through the Spring 2026 semester. A reception showcasing the exhibition will take place on Tuesday, November 18, from 4 pm to 6:30 pm in the Chemistry Building lobby.

The exhibition is curated by art history majors Rebecca Zhang ‘27 and Ynuel Spencer ‘27. Students with questions are encouraged to contact Rebecca or Ynuel with “AEI Questions” in the subject line.
