Two Stony Brook University students will have the opportunity to win significant prizes during the upcoming Homecoming football game. The event, scheduled for October 25 at 3:30 pm, will feature the Seawolves facing off against the Towson University Tigers at LaValle Stadium.

One of the prizes is a semester of free in-state tuition for the Spring 2026 semester. To participate, students must attend the game. Four students will be randomly selected and notified by text to compete in a race on the field. The competition will involve racing from the 50-yard line to the end zone while inside bumper balls, with the first to finish receiving the tuition prize.

Another prize is a housing waiver that covers on-campus housing costs for the Spring 2026 semester. This giveaway is open to in-state undergraduate students at Stony Brook University. Entry requires students to submit their SBU IDs through a form, and eligibility will be verified with Campus Residences. Both undergraduate and graduate students living on campus for the semester are eligible for this prize.

Graduate students will also have a chance to win a $1,500 giveaway. Eligibility requires good academic standing and enrollment in a Master’s or PhD program.

According to the announcement, “Students attending the October 25 Homecoming football game between the Seawolves and the Towson University Tigers at 3:30 pm will have the chance to win either free, in-state tuition for the Spring 2026 semester, or a Spring 2026 housing waiver covering on-campus housing costs.”

Additionally, the first 500 students at the game will receive a limited edition Wolfstock T-shirt and thundersticks. All attendees will get an exclusive Homecoming sticker. Fans purchasing french fries can receive a souvenir Wolfstock cup, provided by SBU Eats and Nathan’s.

Further details about these giveaways and other Homecoming activities can be found on the Homecoming website and Wolfstock website.
